İnsanoğlunun tarih sahnesine çıkışıyla özdeş olan göç, son derece karmaşık, dinamik, çok boyutlu bir olgu olarak sürekli bir devinim halindedir. Göç, farklı bağlam ve koşullarda, farklı biçimler alır ve farklı şekillerde gelişir. Bu nedenle yaşanan göçlerin sebep ve sonuçlarının daha iyi analiz edilebilmesi için göç kuramları ortaya atılmıştır. Göç kuramları, insanları göçe iten, kaynak ülkenin seçiminde etkili olan ve bu göçler sonucu kazanım ve dezavantajların neler olduğunu açıklanmaya çalışır. Göç konusunda geliştirilen kuramlar, aynı olguya açıklık getirmesine rağmen, birbirinden oldukça farklı iddialar ortaya koyar. Bu yüzden göç olgusunun karmaşık yapısına açıklık getirirken, tek bir kuram yerine, karma bir analiz kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada da Türkiye’ye yönelen Suriyeli göç hareketliliği, tüm boyutlarıyla daha iyi analiz edilebilmesi için, tek bir kuram yerine, birbirinden farklı boyutları ele alan göç kuramlarından yararlanılmıştır. Bu teoriler kapsamında, menşe ülkede göç kararında etkili olan nedenler, kaynak ülke seçimi, göç aşaması ve göç sonrası yaşanan olaylar, analiz edilmiştir.

The phenomenon of migration, which has existed since the beginning of human history, is an extremely complex, dynamic, multidimensional phenomenon and is in a constant state of motion. Migration takes different forms and develops in different ways in different contexts and conditions. Consequently, numerous migration theories have been proposed to more effectively examine the factors and outcomes of migration. Migration theories aim to elucidate the underlying factors that compel individuals to engage in migration, the determinants that shape their selection of the host country, and the advantages and disadvantages associated with such migrations. While the theories pertaining to migration provide insights into the same phenomenon, they reveal distinct assumptions.. Hence, it is crucial to employ a comprehensive analysis rather than relying solely on a single theory to achieve superior outcomes and elucidate the intricate nature of the migration phenomenon. This study aims to comprehensively analyzethe Syrian migration mobility in Turkey by employing multiple migration theories that encompass various dimensions, rather than relying on a single theory. Within the scope of these theories, the reasons influencing the migration decision in the country of origin, the choice of the country of origin, the migration phase and the post-migration events were analyzed.
