Gordon’un Fonksiyonel Sağlık Örüntüleri (FSÖ) modeli bireyi on bir fonksiyonel örüntüye göre bütüncül bir şekilde ele almaktadır. Modelin psikiyatri kliniklerinde kullanımı ise kısıtlıdır. Bu olgu sunumunda psikiyatri kliniğinde tedavi gören bireyin Gordon’un FSÖ modeline göre değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ülkemizde bulunan bir ruh sağlığı hastanesinin psikiyatri kliniğinde “organik olmayan psikoz” tanısı ile tedavi gören bir hastanın hemşirelik sürecinde FSÖ modeli kullanılmıştır. Olgunun verileri 02.07.2021-16.07.2021 tarihleri arasında toplandı. Hasta ile yapılan görüşmeler, hasta ile ilgili tedavi ekibinin kayıtları, tedavi ekibinin görüşleri ve araştırmacıların gözlemleri ile veriler toplanmıştır. Bakım planı ise FSÖ modeline göre araştırmacı hemşireler tarafından düzenlenmiştir. Modele göre incelenen olguda “sağlığın algılanması veya sağlığın yönetim biçimleri”, “bilişsel algılama şekli” ve “rol ilişki süreci” olmak üzere üç disfonksiyonel örüntü belirlenmiştir. Ardından bu örüntülere göre üç hemşirelik tanısı belirlenmiştir. “Sağlığı sürdürmede yetersizlik”, “düşünce sürecinde bozulma” ve “sosyal etkileşimde bozulma” olarak belirlenen hemşirelik tanılarına göre hemşirelik girişimleri uygulanarak sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. FSÖ modeli sayesinde birey biyopsikososyal olarak değerlendirilmiş ve detaylı veriler toplanarak hemşirelik süreci kolaylaştırılmıştır. Psikiyatri kliniklerinde tedavi gören bireylerin bakım sürecinde hemşireler ve hemşirelik öğrencileri başta olmak üzere ruh sağlığı çalışanları ve diğer sağlık disiplinleri tarafından FSÖ modelinin kullanılması önerilmektedir.

Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns (FHP) model considers the individual holistically according to eleven functional patterns. The use of the model in psychiatry clinics is limited. It was aimed to evaluate the individual who was treated in a psychiatry clinic according to Gordon’s FHP model in this case report. The FHP model was used in the nursing process of a patient who was treated with the diagnosis of “non-organic psychosis” in the psychiatry clinic of a mental health hospital in our country. The data of the case were collected between 02.07.2021 and 16.07.2021. Data were collected through interviews with the patient, the records of the treatment team, the opinions of the treatment team and the observations of the researchers. The care plan was prepared by the researcher nurses according to the FHP model. In the case examined according to the FHP model, three dysfunctional patterns were identified: “perception of health or management styles of health”, “cognitive perception style” and “role relationship process”. Then, three nursing diagnoses were determined according to these patterns. Nursing interventions were applied and the results were evaluated according to the nursing diagnoses determined as “inability to maintain health”, “impairment in thought process” and “impairment in social interaction”. Thanks to the FHP model, the individual was evaluated biopsychosocially and the nursing process was facilitated by collecting detailed data. It is recommended that the FHP model be used by mental health professionals and other health disciplines, especially nurses and nursing students, in the care process of individuals treated in psychiatry clinics
