Özgül fobi, etkilenen bireylerde özgül durum ya da nesnelere ait kalıcı ve belirgin korku duyulması ile ilişkili
bozukluk türüdür. Özgül fobili bireyler fobik uyaran olarak tanımlanmış bir durum ya da nesne ile karşılaşınca
aşırı korku yaşarlar. Çok sayıda stresli durum özgül fobiyi tetikleyebilir ya da etkilenmiş bireylerde anlamlı
ölçüde yıkıma yol açabilir. Durumsal, nesne ve diğerleri özgül fobinin türleri içinde yer alır. Bireyin korkusu
fırtınalar, su ya da yükseklik ise doğa-çevre tipi olarak tanınır. Bizim çalışmamızda özgül yağmur fobisi
(ombrofobi) tanısı ile tedavi edilen 61 yaşındaki erkek hastanın, hastalık geçmişi çerçevesinde inceleyen
literatür ışığında sunulmuştur.

Specific phobia is a type of disorder in which the affected individual displays a marked and enduring fear of specific situations or objects.
Individuals with specific phobias experience extreme fear as soon as they encounter a defined situation or object, a phobic stimulus. The
specific phobia triggers a lot of distress or significantly impairs an affected individual. The types of specific phobias include situational, object,
and other. Natural environment type is diagnosed if an individual's fear is cued by storms, water, or heights. In our study with a diagnosis of
specific phobia of ombrophobia (fear of rain) treated a 61- [year]-old male patient is presented in the light of the literature examining in the
framework of the history of disease.
