This study presents a graphic test called ìD10î. This test, not yet very used, offers anyway origninal elements besides other projective tests (Rorschach, TAT) to understand the psychic functionning and the symbolisation process of a child or adolescent. The graphic test ìD10î of J. Le Men was built in 1966. The instruction of the test requires about drawing a landscape, using 10 imposed elements and then to tell the story of the scene just represented. In reference to the psychanalytical corpus, the object of this study is to show how the structuration of the space, in this drawing, is the fruit of psychic work which tries to organize the relationships between the persons (intergenerational) and between the others elements (the way in which the bonds are represented). During the test, the mechanisms of projection will be spread, letting appear the way inwhich the subject represents the space that he occupies and how he organizes it, as well as the production of the representations of relationship in their intersubjective at intergenerational dimension. Through its symbolic aspect, D10 supports the deployment of the fantasmatic activity of the subject and allows the expression of a scene where will appear his concerns, his anguishes and his mechanisms of defense through a play between reality and imagination. In that way, it is shown to be a precious tool to explore and reveal the psychic organization of a child. For this reason this standardized test has all its place in the psychological examination.
