Culture can be defined as all spiritual and material values and the tools which is used in creation and transmission of these values to further generations that represents size of domination of human being to its natural and social environment in the process of historical and social progress. The family with its general framework is a universal institution. Also the drawings of a person are influenced from his/her environment, culture, nationality and ethnical origin (Wiesel and Krenaw, 2000). Family drawing tests as a projective technique is a powerful tool on the reflection of feelings and at the same time it reflects the cultural characteristics of the society. By influencing from the cultural characteristics experiences and what people lives reflects to symbols in the drawings and the details belongs to these symbols (Taranci, 1999). In active family drawing technique family members are need to draw their family while they do something. In this study about active family drawing cultural reflection of family and activity, symbol and drawing style of active drawing is analyzed with all aspects. Reflected family relations, family activities, daily activities, emotional expressions, business activities and various symbols is seen as cultural reflection of family in active family drawings.
