Amaç: Alkol ve madde kullanım bozukluğu (AMKB)
toplumun önemli bir kesimini etkilemektedir. AMKB olan
kişilerin ilk denedikleri madde ve bu maddeyi deneme yaşı
yıllara göre farklılık göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada çocuk ve
ergenlerin tedavi gördüğü bir bağımlılık merkezine başvuran
olguların yıllar içinde bazı klinik özelliklere göre (kullanım
yaşı, kullanılan madde türü, cinsiyet) değişimlerinin
saptanması amaçlanmıştır.
Yöntem: Eylül 2003- Eylül 2005 (dI) Eylül 2005-Eylül 2007
(dII) dönemlerinde bir ergen bağımlılık merkezinin başvuran
olguların dosya kayıtları tarandı. Elde edilen bilgiler SPSS 11
programı ile incelendi. İstatistiksel anlamlılık p<0.05 olarak
kabul edildi.
Bulgular: Bu süre içinde 646 olgu başvurmuştur.
Başvuran olguların % 49.5’ u (n:320) dI, %50.5’i (n:326)
dII’de gelmiştir. Olguların yaşlarının aritmetik ortalaması dI
için 16.25±1.798, dII için 16.48±1.678 olarak bulunmuştur
(p:0.053). Cinsiyete göre değerlendirdiğimizde kız hasta
oranının dI’de %10.3, dII’de %18.1 erkek hasta oranının
dI’de % 89.7, dII’de %81.9 olduğu belirlenmiştir (p:0.007).
dI’ de başvuran olguların %74.7 esrar, %56.6 ekstazi, %49.7
uçucu, %42.3 alkol, %31 benzo, %2.7 kokainin, %0.3 eroin
buna karşın dII’de %77.7 esrar, %66.5 ekstazi, %44.9 alkol,
%36.6 uçucu, %27.5 benzo, %2.4 kokainin kullandıkları
saptanmıştır. Uçucu kullanımında da azalma, buna karşın
ekstazi kullanımında artma saptanmıştır.
Tartışma: Bu çalışmada bildirilen ilk olarak madde
deneme yaşı literatür bilgisi ile uyumludur. Madde kullanan
ergenlerin kullandıkları maddeler ve cinsiyet dağılımları yıldan
yıla farklılık göstermektedir. Sigara hala ilk olarak denenen
madde olmakla beraber esrar ve ekstazi kullanımında önemli
bir artma vardır.

Objective: Alcohol and substance use disorder (ASUD)
affects the majority of the society. The first substance tried
by ASUD and the onset age vary according to the [year]s.
The objective of this study is to determine the changes in
the cases, who applied to the Adolescent Addiction Center,
based on some clinical aspects (onset age, the type of
substance used, and gender) through the [year]s.
Method: The file records of the cases, who have applied
to the Adolescent Addiction Center between September 2003
and September 2005 (dI) September 2005 and September
2007 (dII) have been scanned. The findings have been
reviewed on SPSS 11 program. The statistical difference has
been accepted as p<0.05.
Results: 646 cases have applied during this period. 49.5
% (n:320) of these cases applied in dI and 50.5 % (n:326)
have applied in dII. The arithmetical average of the ages of
these cases is 16.25±1.798 for dI and it is 16.48±1.678 for
dII (p:0.053). Based on the gender the rate of female cases
is 10.3 % in dI and it is 18.1% in dII; the rate of the male
cases is 89.7 % in dI and it is 81.9% in dII (p:0.007). It has
been determined that 74.7 % of the cases, who applied in
dI, used cannabis, 56.6 % use ecstasy, 49.7 % used inhalant,
42.3 % used alcohol, 31 % used benzodiazepam, 2.7 % used
cocaine and 0.3 % used heroine. On the other hand 77.7 %
of the cases, who applied in dII, used cannabis, 66.5 % used
ecstasy, 44.9 % used alcohol, 36.6 % used inhalant, 27.5 %
used benzodiazepam and 2.4 % used cocaine. It has also
been determined that there has been a decrease in the use
of inhalant whereas there has been an increase in the use of
ecstasy. (p:0.001, 0.031).
Discussion: The average of onset age is similar with the
literature knowledge. The substances used by ASUD and the
rate of the gender vary from [year] to [year]. The cigarette is still
the firstly tried substance and there has been a considerable
increase in the use of cannabis and ecstasy.
