Derginin bu ayki sayısı "Bağımlılık" üzerine olduğundan, bu alanda çarpıcı bir örnek olan "Bir Rüya için Ağıt_Requiern for a Dream" filmini incelemek uygun olacaktır. Öncelikle filmin senaryosu ve oyuncu kadrosundan bahsetmek gerekirse; film, Hubert Selby, Jr.'in 1978 yılında kaleme aldığı aynı adlı romanından, 2000 yılında Daren Aronofsky'nin yönetiminde çekilmiştir. Filmin konusu dört ana karakter etrafında şekillendirilmiştir. Ana karakterler anne ve oğlu, Sara (Ellen Burstyn) ve Harry Goldfarb (Jared Leto), Harry'nin kız arkadaşı Marion Silver (Jennifer Connelly) ve Harry'nin en yakın arkadaşı Tyrone C. Love (Marlon Wayans)'dır. Film, romanla aynı örgü içerisinde birbirini takip eden üç mevsimde kurgulanmıştır; yaz, sonbahar ve kış.
