Psychoanalysis gives a big importance to the relationship during the individual's psychic development. The most important relations­hip is created between the child and his mother. For this reason many psychoanalysts beginning with Sigmund Freud, and the others like Donald Winnicott, Melanie Klein, Wilfred Bion, Andre Green, Denise Braunschweig propose some concepts above the motherhood and maternity. For example; maternal and maternal object, mother as a sexual object, archaic mother, phallic mother, maternal ca­re-mothering, good enough mother, primary maternal preoccupation, mother's capacity for reverie, maternal love, censorship of the lower, maternal erotic, complex of the dead mother.
