Literatürde subependymal dev hücreli astrositomla görülen tuberous sclerosis algıdan çok nadir olarak bildirilmiştir. Kliniğimizde beş yıllık bir sürede 350 beyin tümörü olgusuna karşılık yalnızca bir olguyla karşılaştık. Kitle subtotal olarak çıkarıldı. Postoperatif olarak radyoterapi uygulandı. Olguyu iki yıldır takip etmekteyiz. Rekürrens saptanmadı.

As well know from literature, the cases of tuberous sclerosis, associated with subependymal giant-cell astrocytoma are extremly rare. We encountered with just only one case among the 350 brain tumors upon which operated in last 5 [year]s period at the Bakirköy Mental and Nervous Diseases Hospital. Patient's intracranial mass was excised subtotally and he received a radiotherapy course postoperatively. Being followed for 2 [year]s, there has been no recurrence so far.
