Capgras sendromu: "Hastada, çevresindeki kimi kişilerin gerçek kendileri olmayıp onların görünüşüne benzer veya sahteleri oldukları biçiminde bir sanrı olusu" biçiminde ilk defa 1923'te tanımlanmıştır. Capgras'ın tanımladığı gibi Özel bir sendrom veya çok iyi bilinen bazı klinik tablolarda ortaya çıkan bir semptom olarak doğası tartışmalıdır. Ancak, hastalar başka semptomlar gösterse bile bu özel sanrının semptomatolojinin merkezi olduğu kabul edilir. Sendromıın patogenezine ilişkin organik ve psikodinamik yaklaşımlar mevcuttur.
Bu yazıda, kliniğimizde yatarak tedavi gören Capgras sendromlu bir olgu nedeniyle literatür gözden geçirilmektedir.

Capgras syndrome was first described in 1923 as the delusional conviction that other persons in the patient's environment are not their real selves but are double or impostor that have assumed these person's appearance. The problem is controversial that is this condition described by Capgras a special syndrome, or just a symptom occurring in one of the well-known clinical entities. However, it is obvious that, although the patients presented other symptoms, this particular delusion was center of the symptomatology. There are organic and psychodynamic approaches for the pathogenesis of the syndrome. This article reviews the literature because of a patient with Capgras syndrome was treated in our clinic.
