The term "psychosomatic" have been introduced by Heinroth in 19th century on the premise that mind and body influence each other on the pathogenesis of disease. In early Freud's writings the neurosis and the patients from other groups such as neurasthenia has been separated. In this paper the author, basing on French Psychosomatic School concepts such as "essential depression", "operating thought", "progressive disorganization", discuss the utility of face to face relation with psychosomatic patients. Certain patients especially the psychosomatic ones find it very difficult to express their feelings and thoughts without seeing the analyst. So the psychoanalytical face to face framework gives them the necessary holding and dependence on the analyst via the gaze. Psychoanalytical relaxation theories introduced by Ferenczi to psychoanalysis with patients who are not suitable for cure type analysis are possible for healing the somatic problems. A case study of 33 [year] old man suffering from panic attacks shows the necessity of face to face relation and the relaxation sessions utility to work with these groups of patients.
