This article is related to clinical practice with very young children suffering from psychosomatic symptoms and their relation with the parents. Symptoms indicate variety of troubles like sleeping and eating, diverse somatic disorders and somatic illnesses. The consultation takes approximately two hours during which the clinician must be very attentive to the baby's transferential reactions. Besides, it is essential that he should avoid any advice even when asked. The aim is to acquire changes in the psychosomatic equilibrium of both parents, which will lead them to help their baby to develop and to have mental functioning for the achievement of psychical integration of conflicts instead of illness. Case studies of Remi, 2 [year]s old, and his brother Nicolas, 6 [year]s old are narrated. Different elements leading to children's somatic symptoms are emphasized. As a conclusion, both children tried to cope with difficulties by having somatic illnesses. The indication of link with parents' own stories and the symptoms of children convinced the parents to accept psychotherapy.
