48-72 Aylar arasındaki çocukların duygusal ifadeleri tanımlama ve algılamalarının yaş ve cinsiyetlerine göre incelenmesi amacıyla bu araştırma planlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri Ankara il merkezindeki Şentepe, İncirli, Akdere Ana Çocuk Sağlığı ve Aile Planlaması Merkezi ve bu merkezlere kayıtlı olan adreslerdeki çocuklardan elde edilmiştir. 50 kız 43 erkek olmak üzere 93 çocukla yapılan araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak objektif yöntem kullanılmış olup, veri toplama aracı olarak da çeşitli yüz ifadelerinden oluşan form kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya alınan çocukların duygusal ifadeleri doğru tanımlamadıklarının (üşümüş, korkmuş, mutlu, öfkeli) yaşla arttığı gözlenirken, cinsiyetle bir farklılık olmadığı bulunmuştur. Üşümüş, korkmuş, mutlu, öfkeli, neşeli gibi duygusal ifadeleri algılamaları ve buna ilişkin verdikleri yanıtlarda ise yaş ve cinsiyete göre belirgin bir farklılık bulunamamıştır.

This study is planned for the purpose of examining the definition and perception of emotional expressions according to age and sex among children 48-72 [month]s of age. Data is collected from the children whose adresses are recorded in the Mother and Child Health Family Planning Centers of Sentepe, Incirli and Akdere all of which are in the province center of Ankara or from the children who visit these centers. The study includes 93 children in total, 50 of which are girls and 43 are boys. For data collection, projective method is used and data is collected through forms which constitute of some special face remarks. It is observed that the correct definitions of the emotional expressions (got chilled, scared happy, angry, cheerfull) have increased with age among the children included in the study. However, no significant, difference is observed between sexes. Besides perceiving the same emotional expressions (got chilled, scared happy, angry, cheerfull) and the responses to these expressions, no significant difference is observed according to age and sex.
