Bu çalışmanın amacı, afet sürecinde üniversite öğrencilerinde psikolojik iyi oluşun, belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük, umut ve demografik değişkenlere göre yordanıp yordanmadığını incelemektir.. Bu araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ölçme aracı olarak “Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği”, “Belirsizliğe Tahammülsüzlük Ölçeği”, “Sürekli Umut Ölçeği” ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul’daki vakıf ve devlet üniversitelerinde okuyan 150’si kadın (62,2), 91’i erkek (37,8) toplam 241 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Google form aracılığıyla toplanmış ve verilerin analizinde Bağımsız Örneklem t-testi, ANOVA, Pearson Korelasyon analizi ve Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre bağımsız değişkenler psikolojik iyi oluşun %49’unu açıklamaktadır. Standardize edilmiş regresyon katsayısına göre yordayıcı değişkenlerin psikolojik iyi oluş üzerindeki göreli önem sırası; sürekli umut, gelir düzeyi, belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük, cinsiyet, afet sürecini TV/sosyal medya üzerinden takip etme sıklığı, olası bir afete hazır olma durumu, algılanan ebeveyn tutumudur. Regresyon katsayılarının anlamlılığına ilişkin t-testi sonuçları incelendiğinde; gelir düzeyi, sürekli umut ve belirsizliğe tahammülsüzlük değişkenleri anlamlı bir etkiye sahiptir.

The aim of this study is to examine whether the psychological well-being of university students during a disaster is predicted by intolerance to uncertainty, hope, and demographic variables. In this research, a relational screening model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The Psychological Well-being Scale, The Uncertainty Intolerance Scale, Dispositional Hope Scale and the Personal Information Form were used as measurement tools in the research. A total of 241 university students, 150 of whom are women (62.2%) and 91 of whom are men (37.8%), studying at foundation and state universities in Istanbul, constitute the working group of the research. The data were collected via a Google Form and the analysis included Independent Sample t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis. According to the results, independent variables account for 49% of psychological well-being. When examining the t-test results for the significance of the regression coefficients, it appears that hope and income level have a significant effect.
