Bu makalenin amacı; yurt içinde kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığı alanında yaygın olarak kullanılmayan mesleki aşkınlık kavramını ele almak ve kavramın çatısını oluşturmaktır. Yurt içi literatürde mesleki aşkınlık kavramı açıklanmaya çalışılmış, ancak bu konuda görüş birliğinin olmadığı görülmüştür. Bu araştırmada mesleki aşkınlık kavramının tarihsel gelişim süreci, kavramın teorik alt yapısı, kavramla ilgili yapılan çalışmalar, kavramı etkileyen bağlamsal faktörlerin neler olabileceği, yurt içi literatüre uygun bir şekilde nasıl tanımlanabileceği, neden “aşkınlık” kavramının tercih edildiği ve son olarak da ülkemizde nasıl kullanılabileceği ile ilgili açıklamalara ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.

The purpose of this article; to address the concept of calling, which is not widely used in the field of career psychological counseling in the country, and to form the framework of the concept. The concept of calling was tried to be explained, but when the literature was examined, it was seen that there was no consensus. In this research, the historical development process of the concept of calling, the theoretical background of the concept, the studies conducted on the concept, what may be the contextual factors affecting the concept, how it can be defined in accordance with the domestic literature, why the concept of "transcendence" is preferred, and finally how it can be used in our country related explanations and suggestions are included.
