Mevcut çalışmanın amacı, Koronavirüs salgını sürecinde bireylerin depresyon ve kaygı düzeylerinin yordayıcılarını tes- pit etmektir. Çalışmaya 563 kişi katılmış olup bu kişilerin 353’ü (%62.7) kadın ve 210’u (%37.3) erkektir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 35.64’tür. Katılımcıların depresyonu, kaygı düzeyi, sağlıklı yaşam farkındalığı, algılanan sosyal destek, duygu düzenleme özellikleri ve bazı demografik verileri ölçülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre depresyonun yor- dayıcıları cinsiyet, yaş, evde riskli gruptan birinin bulunması, virüsün bulaşma endişesi, salgına çözüm bulunacağına dair düşünce, bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme ve algılanan sosyal destektir. Kaygının yordayıcıları ise yaş, salgına çözüm bulunacağına dair düşünce, bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme ve algılanan sosyal destektir. Aşamalı regresyon sonuçlarına göre ise depresyonu en çok algılanan sosyal destek yordarken kaygıyı ise en çok bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme yorda- mıştır. Kadın olmak, genç olmak, düşük sosyal destek algısı ve bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme Koronavirüs sırasında depresyon için risk oluşturmaktadır. Salgın sürecindeki kaygı için ise, genç olmak, salgına çözüm bulunacağını düşün- memek, bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme stratejisini az kullanmak ve düşük sosyal destek algısı risk faktörlerindendir. Online destek programlarının erişilebilirliğinin kadınlar, genç insanlar gibi belli hassas gruplara yönelik arttırılması önemlidir. Ayrıca, bu tür salgın, deprem gibi afet durumlarından bireylerin olumsuz olarak daha az etkilenmeleri için bilişsel yeniden değerlendirme stratejisinin aktarılabileceği çeşitli psiko-eğitim programları oluşturulabilir.

The aim of current study is to find the predictors of depression and anxiety during the Coronavirus outbreak. 563 people participated in the study, 353 (62.7%) of them were women and 210 (37.3%) were men. The average age of the participants is 35.64. Depression, anxiety, healthy life awareness, perceived social support, emotion regulation and some demographic characteristics of participants were measured. According to the results, the predictors of depression are gender, age, presence of a risky group at home, anxiety about infection, opinion about finding a solution to the outbreak, cognitive reappraisal and perceived social support. The predictors of anxiety are age, opinion about finding a solution to the outbreak, cognitive reappraisal and social support. According to the stepwise regression results, de- pression is predicted the most by perceived social support. Anxiety is predicted most by cognitive reappraisal. Being a woman, being young, low social support perception and cognitive reappraisal pose a risk for depression during coronavirus. For anxiety in the Coronavirus pandemic process, being young, not thinking for the solution to Covid-19, low level cognitive reappraisal strategy and low social support perception are among the risk factors. It is important to increase the availability of online psychological programs for certain vulnerable groups like women or young people. In addition, psycho-educational programs can be created in which the cognitive reappraisal strategy can be explain so that individuals are less affected by disasters such as epidemics and earthquakes.
