Ebeveynlerin ebeveynleri ile olan ilişkisinin çocukta görülen çekingen davranış sorununa olan etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılan çalışmada iç içe geçmiş tek durum desenli örnek olay çalışmasından faydalanılmıştır. Veriler çekingen davranış sorunu gösteren çocuktan, çocuğun ebeveyninden çocuğa bakım hizmeti veren ebeveynin ebeveyninden (büyük ebeveyn) toplanmıştır. Çocuktan gelişim öyküsü, doğal gözlem, resim analizi ve oyun terapisi tekniklerinden veriler elde edilmiştir. Ebeveyne ait veriler; Young Şema Ölçeği, Young Ebeveynlik Ölçeği ve bireysel görüşmeden elde edilirken, büyük ebeveyninden ise Young Şema Ölçeği ve bireysel görüşme yoluyla değerlendirmeden veriler toplanmıştır. Çocuğa ilişkin bulgularda; sınıf içerisinde arkadaşları ile olan iletişim başlatma, sürdürme becerilerinde söz alma, fikrini beyan etme, isteğini ortaya koyma, reddetme, tutum ve davranışlarında zorlanmalar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Anneye ilişkin bulgularda; çocuğuyla vakit geçirme konusunda isteksiz olma, kendi ihtiyaçlarını çocuğun ihtiyaçlarına göre çoğunlukla öncülleme eğiliminde olduğu saptanmıştır. Büyük ebeveyne ilişkin bulgularda ise; baskıcı, otoriter ve kuralcı tutumlarından dolayı bakım verdiği torununa annesinden daha öncelikli olarak bakmakla yükümlü hissettiği tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda çocuklarda görülen davranış sorunlarının ebeveyn tutumları ve ebeveyninin de kendi ebeveyni ile olan ilişkisini algılama biçimiyle ilişkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In the study conducted to determine the effect of the relationship of parents with their parents on the timid behavior problem observed in the child, a case study with a single case pattern was used. The data were collected from the child showing shy behavior, from the parent of the child to the parent of the parent (grand parent) who provides care to the child. Data from developmental history, natural observation, picture analysis and play therapy techniques were obtained from the child. Parental data; While the Young Schema Scale was obtained from the Young Parenting Scale and the individual interview, data was collected from the grandparents from the assessment through the Young Schema Scale and the individual interview. In the findings related to the child; It has been determined that there are difficulties in starting, communicating with their friends in the classroom, taking a word in their skills, expressing their opinions, expressing their desires, refusing, attitudes and behaviors. In the findings regarding the mother; It has been determined that they are reluctant to spend time with their children and often pioneer their needs according to the needs of the child. In the findings related to the grand parent; Because of his oppressive, authoritarian and prescriptive attitudes, he was found to feel obligated to take care of his grandchildren more than his mother. As a result of the study, it was concluded that behavioral problems in children are related to parental attitudes and the way their parents perceive their relationship with their parents.
