Ülke ekonomileri içinde önemli yere ve paya sahip olan aile işletmelerinin en önemli sorunlarının başında nepotizm gelmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı aile isletmelerinde çalışanların nepotizm ile ilgili algı düzeylerini belirlemek ve nepotizmin çalışanların örgütsel adalet algıları ile iş performansları üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, Merzifon Organize Sanayi Bölgesindeki 7 işletmede görev yapan 111 çalışan üzerinde bir anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nepotizm boyutlarından işe alma sürecinde kayırmacılık ile prosedürel adalet arasında anlamlı ve ters yönlü bir ilişkinin olduğu, buna karşın diğer nepotizm boyutları ile prosedürel adalet arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunmadığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Benzer bir şekilde işe alma süreci ile etkileşimsel adalet arasında anlamlı ve ters yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Çalışanların nepotizm algılarının en fazla etkiye sahip oldukları örgütsel adalet boyutunun dağıtımsal adalet olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Nepotizm alt boyutlarından hem terfide kayırmacılığın hem de işe alma sürecinde kayırmacılığın dağıtımsal adalet üzerinde anlamlı ve ters yönde bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmada ayrıca nepotizm boyutlarının hiçbiri ile iş performansı arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunamamıştır.

Nepotism is one of the major problem of Family Businesses which have important place and role at Country economies. The aim of this study is defining nepotism perception of employees working for family businesses and determining the effects of nepotism on employees’ Organisational Justice and Job Performance Perception. For this purpose, questionnaire study is carried on 111 employees working on family businesses operating in Merzifon Organised Industrial Site. In this research, it is found that there is a significant and negative relationship between favoritism at hiring process which is one of the sub dimension of nepotism and procedural justice. In spide of that there is no significant relationship is found between prosedural justice and the rest of nepotism dimensions. Likewise, it is found that there is significant and negative relationship between hiring process and transactional justice. It is found that Employees’ nepotism perception is mostly effects allocative justice sub-dimension of organisational justice. Two of the nepotism sub-dimensions are favoritism at promotion and favoritism at hiring process have significant and negative effect on allocative justice. Also it is found that there is no significant relationship between job performance and any of nepotism dimensions.
