Ergenlerde Öfke İfade Tarzı, Atılganlık Düzeyi ve İlişkili Faktörler

Amaç: Bu çalışma ergenlerde öfke duygusu ve bu duygunun ifade ediliş biçimleri, atılganlık düzeyleri ve ilişkili faktörleri incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı olarak planlanan çalışmanın evrenini 2014-2015 öğretim yılında İzmir Bayraklı ilçesine bağlı liselerde öğrenim gören 2274 öğrenci, örneklemini iki farlı lisede öğrenim gören 404 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sürekli Öfke-Öfke İfade Tarzı Ölçeği ve Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri ile toplanmış, SPSS for Windows21 programı ile bilgisayar ortamına girilmiştir. Analizlerde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Student-t testi, One Way Anova, Mann Whitney-u, Kruskal-Wallis testleri ile korelasyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma örneklemini oluşturan 404 öğrencinin (166’sı kız, 238’i erkek) yaş ortalaması 16,20±1,17‘dir. Öğrencilerin yaşları ile öfke içe ve öfke dışa vurumu düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Gelir durumunun gideri karşıladığını ya da giderden fazla olduğunu ifade eden öğrencilerin atılganlık puan ortalamaları, gelirin gideri karşılamadığını ifade eden öğrencilere göre anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Anne-babasının tutumunu anlayışlı olarak tanımlayan öğrencilerin Sürekli Öfke ve Öfke-İçe alt ölçek puan ortalamaları diğer öğrencilere göre düşük bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerine göre sürekli öfke düzeyleri, öfke ifadesi ve atılganlık düzeyleri arasında farklılıklar olduğu bulunmuştur.
Anger Expression Manner, Assertiveness Level And Related Factors Among Adolescents
Aim: The study has been done with the aim of investigating anger emotion and the expression of this emotion, assertiveness levels and related factors in adolescents. Method: The study was planned as descriptive. The universe of the research is 2274 students continuing high school education in 2014-2015 education years of Bayrakli district of Izmir City. The sample of the research was composed 404 students studying in two different high schools. A Personal Questionnaire that was composed by researcher, State Trait Anger Expression Inventory and Rathus Assertiveness Inventory have been used for collecting data. Data analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics, Student t test, One Way Anova, Mann Whitney-u, Kruskal-Wallis and correlation tests by using SPSS for Windows21 programme. Results: The average age of 404 students (166 girls, 238 boys) who composed the sampling group of the research is 16,20±1,17. The age of the students and levels of the anger-in, anger-out subscales were found as related. It was found that the students who express to have sufficient or over income comparing outlay have higher assertiveness levels than the students who express to have insufficient income comparing outlay. According to results of the study the students who Express attitudes of their parents as “understanding” have lower average points of Continuous Anger and Anger-In subscales. Conclusion: The differences between trait anger levels, anger expression and assertiveness levels was found according to demografic features of the students.
