Bu yazıda, psikiyatrik bozukluklardan olan anksiyetenin bedensel belirtileri gözden geçirilmiş olup çok çeşitli psikiyatrik bozukluklarla ve fiziksel hastalıklarla ayrımı üzerinde durulmuştur. Anksiyete bozukluğu olan hastaların önemli bir bölümünün somatize ettikleri belirtilerle, genelde psikiyatri dışı kliniklere başvurdukları ve bu belirtilerin pekiştirildiği vurgulanmış, organik ve psikoterapötik tedavi üzerinde durulmuştur.
