Bu çalışmada, Rorschach Testi aracılığıyla bir alışveriş bağımlısının ruhsal süreçleri psikanalitik bir bakış açısı ile değerlendirilmiştir. 28 yaşında alışveriş bağımlısı bir kadın danışana uygulanan Rorschach Testi, Fransız Ekolü sistemine göre incelenmiş ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak yorumlanmıştır. Erken dönem nesne ilişkileri, depresif duygulanım, narsisistik kırılganlık ve deri-ben işlevindeki hassasiyetin Rorsc-hach Testindeki görünümleri bağımlılık sorunsalı ekseninde incelenmiştir.
