Güncel psikanalitik literatürde bağımlılık kişinin; duygu, kendilik, kişilerarası ilişkiler ve özbakım kapasitesini etkileyen daha gözlemlenebilir ve yapısal bozukluklara gönderme yapacak şekilde ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda kendini düzenleme sistemi, bağımlılığın gelişiminde duygulanım düzenlenmesinde bozulma, üstbenlik patolojisi ve bakım verenlerin kapsama işlevindeki yetersizlikten söz eder. Bu çalışmanın amacı alkol ve/veya madde bağımlılığı tanısı konmuş hastalarda kendini düzenleme sistemi bozukluklarının projektif testlerle incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda yatarak tedavi gören 20 hastaya Rorschach ve Tematik Algı Testleri uygulanmış, elde edilen yanıtların içeriği Fransız Okulu sistemine göre yorumlanmıştır. Sonuçlar alkol-madde kötüye kullanımında sözü geçen kendini düzenleme sistemi bozukluklarına dair kuramsal açıklamaları destekler niteliktedir.

In recent psychoanalytic literature, addiction is taken into consideration by referring to more observable and structural disorders that affect one?s emotions, self, interpersonal relations and self-care capacity. The self-regulation system, in this context, underlines disturbances in affect regulation, superego pathology and an inadequacy in the function of containing of caregivers in the development of addictions. The aim of this study is, thus, to scrutinize the self-regulation system disorders in patients diagnosed with alcohol use and/or substance abuse disorder via projective tests. In accordance with this purpose, 20 hospitalized patients were tested with the Rorschach and Thematic Apperception Tests; and the contents of the results obtained from the participants were interpreted according to the French School system. Results have been found to be supportive of the aforementioned disturbances in the self-regulation system.
