Bu çalışmanın amacı gebelik dönemindeki kadınların ruhsal dünyalarının narsisistik eksende incelenmesidir. Gebelik dönemi, kadının ilgisinin dış dünyadan kendi iç dünyasına ve düşlemlerine yöneldiği bir dönem olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bir kadın gebelik döneminde henüz dünyaya gelmemiş çocuğu ile özdeşleşmektedir. Bu sayede gebelik narsisizminin etkisiyle fetüsü kendi benliğine haz veren bir uzantıya dönüşmüş olarak deneyimleyebilmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında herhangi bir psikopatoloji öyküsü olmayan ve ilk gebeliğini deneyimleyen bir kadının normal gebelik sürecinin ilk trimesterindeki narsisistik yatırımları psikanalitik yönelimli yarı yapılandırılmış klinik görüşme, Rorschach Testi ve Tematik Algı Testi aracılığı ile incelenmiştir. This study analyses the psychic world of the women in the pregnancy period within the narcissistic line. Pregnancy period is defined as a period in which a woman's interest shifts from the outside world to her inner world and fantasies. A woman identifies with her unborn child in her pregnancy period. Through this, with the effect of the preg- nancy narcissism, she could experience the fetus as an appendage which gives pleasu- re to her self. Within the context of this study, the narcissistic investments of a woman with no psyc- hopatology background and experiencing her first pregnancy were evaluated during the first trimester of normal pregnancy via psychoanalytically oriented semi-structured interview, Rorschach Test and Thematic Apperception Test. The results of the projecti- ve tests were evaluated by content analyses specific to the French School.
