Bu çalışmada gebelik döneminde narsisizm kuramsal olarak ele alınmıştır. Gebelik sürecinin 26. haftasında olan bir kadına IRMAG (Hamilelik Süresince Annelik Temsilleri Mülakatı) ve TAT testi uygulanmıştır. Katılımcının narsisistik yanıtları incelenmiş ve psikanalitik kuram çerçevesinde yorumlanmıştır. Gebelik narsisistik bir dönemdir. Gebe kadın bebeği tutabildiğini ve büyütebildiğini hissettikçe narsisistik olarak doyum sağlar. Bu süreçte karnındaki şey ondan ayrı mıdır yoksa onun bir parçası mıdır? Annenin zihninde bebek nerededir? İşte bu sorulara verilen cevaplar doğumla beraber kritik bir önem taşıyacaktır. Katılımcının TAT testine verdiği yanıtlardan narsisizm ekseninde değerlendirilebilecek olan yanıtlar bu bölümde paylaşılmıştır. Gebelik sürecindeki her kadının, bebeğe dair temsilleri ve gebelik sürecini deneyimleyişi farklıdır. IRMAG (Hamilelik Süresince Annelik Temsilleri Mülakatı) uygulanarak Gebelikte IRMAG ve TAT Protokolünde Narsisizm Görünümleri 93 katılımcıdan nesne ilişkileri, narsisistik yatırımları ve hamilelik dönemi boyunca bebekle ilgili nasıl temsilleri olduğuna dair veri toplanmıştır. Narsisizm ekseninde değerlendirilebilecek olan yanıtları bu bölümde paylaşılmıştır.

Narcissism during pregnancy is theoretically discussed in this study. A woman who is in the 26th week of her pregnancy has been tested for IRMAG (Interview of Maternity Representations during Pregnancy) and TAT. The narcissistic response of the partici- pant have been examined and interpreted within the framework of psychoanalytic theory. Pregnancy is a time for narcissism. As the pregnant woman thinks she can keep the baby and nurture it she is narcissically satisfied. Is it separate from or part of the thing in the womb in this process? Where's the baby in the mind of the mother? With the birth of the baby, the answers given to these questions will be of critical importance. In this part, the participant's responses to the TAT test, which can be evaluated within the narcissistic axis, are shared. The pregnant woman's representa- tions and experiences of the baby are different. The pregnant woman's representations and experiences of the baby are different. The participant collected IRMAG (Interview on Maternity Representations during Pregnancy) data on object relationships, narcis- sistic investments, and how the baby is represented during the pregnancy period. For answers that can be evaluated within the axis of narcissism, this hint was shared.
