René Roussillon’a göre özne için travmatik olan onun ruhsal sürecini bozacak olandır. Bu calısmada 38 yaşındaki kadın hastanın hamilelik sürecinde geçirdiği depresyon projektif vöntemler ile incelenecektir. İlk gebeliğinin düşük olduğunu ve kendiliğinden düştüğünü ifade eden hasta ilki erkek olmak üzere iki çocuk sahibidir. Üçüncü çocuğuna hamile olan hasta ilk kızına hamileliğinde depresif bir süreç yaşamıştır. Şu andaki hamileliğinin ikinci ayında benzer depresif belirtiler göstermeye başlamıştır. Bunun üzerine psikiyatriste başvurmuş, gebeliği nedeniyle ilaç tedavisine başlamak istemediğinden kliniğe yatışı yapılıp Majör Depresyon tanısıyla tedavisine başlanmıştır. Servise yatışı yapıldıktan sonra kendisiyle bireysel görüşme yapılmıştır. Hastaya yapılacak çalışma hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra hastaya Rorschach Testi ve TAT uygulanmıştır. Freud annesel olanın çocuk Için uyarım kalkanı işlevi gördüğünü söyler. Bu vakada gebelikler istenen gebelikler olmasına rağmen hamilelik dönemlerinde tekrarlayan depresif bir süreç yaşandığı görülmektedir. Hasta annesel olana ve annesel bakım işlevine dair olan çatışmayı travmatik bir deneyim olarak yaşantılamaktadır. Dolayısıyla hamilelik onun ruhsal sürecini bozan bir dönem olarak yaşanmakta ve hastanın ruhsal aygıtının savunmalarının yetersiz kaldığı düşünülmektedir. Bu calışmada vakanın annesel konuma dair yaşantısı uygulanan testlere verilen yanıtlar psikanalitik kuram açısından ele alınacaktır.

In this study, a 38 year old woman's depression during her pregnancy period will be investigated with the projective methods. She has miscarried her pregnancy for no reason and, she has a first-born boy and a girl at the moment. The patient is currently expecting her third child. She had depression during her pregnancy for her first girl and similarly, she started to experience depressive symptoms in second month of her present pregnancy. She recently applied to a psychiatrist. She did not want to take medication due to her pregnancy and she was hospitalized with a diagnosis of Major Depression. Afterwards, individual meetings were held with her. After she had been informed about the study, the Rorschach test and TAT were conducted to her. Freud has asserteds that the maternity functions as stimulation shield for the child. In this case, even though the pregnancies are intended, it is seen that recurrent depressive periods were experienced during pregnancies. She lived experiences the conflict about the maternity and the function of maternal care, as a traumatical experience. Therefore, pregnancy has been experienced by her as a period which damages her mental mind. It is thought that the defence of her psychic apparatus has remained incapable. In this study, the patient’s experience about the position of maternity has been analyzed through her answers to die tests which were applied to her.
