Epilepsi çocukluk çağında en sık görülen kronik hastalıklardan biridir. Epilepsi tanısı alan cocuklar eş zamanlı olarak anksiyete veya depresyon tanıları da alabilmektedirler. Bu çalışmanın amacı epilepsi tanısı alan çocukların ruhsal işleyişlerini projektif cizim testleri ile incelemek ve çizimlerini epilepsi tanısı almayan yaşıtlarıyla karşılaştırmaktır. Araştırmada “Bir Insan Çiz" ve “Bir Ağaç Çiz" testleri kullanılmıştır. İki grup çizim kalitesi, saç çizimi ve burun çizimi açısından farklılıklar göstermiştir. Sonuçlar psikanalitik literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.

Epilepsy is one of the most chronic disease in childhood. Children suffering from epilepsy may suffer mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. The purpose of the study is to examine psychic functioning of the children with epilepsy through projective drawing tests and compare their drawings with their peers who do not have epilepsy diagnosis. "Draw a Person Test" and "“Draw a Tree Test" were used in the study. The two groups showed significant differences in terms of drawing quality, hair drawing and nose drawing. The results are discussed under the light of psychoanalytical literature.
