Yazar cezaevi ortamında psikiyatri servisi çerçevesi altındatakip edilmiş tutuklu bireyler ile edinilen klinik pratikten yola çıkarak, cinsel şiddet failleri kliniğini incelemeyi önerir. Projektif testlerle özellikle de Rorschach’ya dayanarak, nasıl travmatik mantığın çağırıldığının, eyleme geçiş sırasında ve sonrasında yeniden güncelleştiğinin kavranması söz konusu edilmektedir. Eylem böylece, Benliğin bağlantı kapasitelerini taşıran uyaranlar için bir çekiciye (attracteur) dönüşür. Ötekinde de aynı anda meydana gelen ve dışarıdan kontrol edilen bu travma, tasarımlanamayanın, öznellikten kaybedilmiş olanın bir ilk figürasyonunu sağlayacaktır. Makale ilk olarak Rorschach'da ortaya çıkan ve ona özgü olan göstergeleri saptamayı önerir, ardından da okuma yolları ve psikodinamik anlamlar sunar.
