Bu çalışmanın amacı, manik-depresif bir kişilik örgütlenmesinin varlığını ve onun projektif testlerdeki özgün ruhsal işleyişini ortaya koymaktır. Kişiler, DSM’nin bipolar tanısına göre seçildiklerinde, altta yatan ortak bir ruhsal işleyisi açığa çıkarmanın zor olduğu görülmektedir. Buna karşın, örneklem projektif testlerden elde edilen gÖlerden hareketle seçildiğinde, daha homojen bir işleyis açığa çıkmaktadır. Söylemin duygulanımla ilgili tüm özelliklerinin analizi, bu kişilerde yoğun bir duygulanım arayışını ve ifadesini, ayrıca özel bir sembiyoz biçimini ortaya çıkarmaktadır; Bleuler'in tarif ettiği “sintoni" kavramına benzeyen bir “total birlik" düşlemi içinde, durmaksızın şeylerin ve varlıkların sürekliliğini ararlar. This study tries to evidence the existence of a manic-depressive personality organization with its specific psychic functioning on projective tests. When subjects are selected on the basis of the DSM diagnosis of bipolarity, it appears dfficult to extract a common underlying pattern of psychic functioning. By comparison, when the sample is chosen on the basis of observations gathered from projective tests, a greater homogeneity of functioning is revealed. The analysis of all fragments of speech dealing with affect leads to underline, in these subjects, an intense quest and expression of affect, as well as a specific type of symbiosis; subjects constantly seek the continuity between objects and beings in a fantasy of "absolute union", a phenomenon reminiscent of Bleuler's concept of "syntony ". According to the authors, this description embodies the essence of manic-depressive organization.
