İstanbul'da suç zanlısı kadınlarda cezaevi öncesi alkol ve madde kullanım sıklığı ve özellikleri

Alkol ve/veya madde kullanımı ile suç ilişkisi neden olduğu toplumsal, ekonomik ve tıbbi
sorunlar nedeniyle ciddi bir biçimde araştırılması ve önlenmesine yönelik girişimlerin yapılması
gereken bir durumdur. Gelişmiş ülkelerde bu konuda çok sayıda araştırma yapılmasına rağmen bu
sorun ülkemizde yeterince ilgi görmemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amaçlarından biri bu sorunun önemini
vurgulamaktır.
Çalışmamızda incelenen olguların % 39.02’sinin hayatlarının herhangi bir döneminde alkol
ve/veya madde kullandığı, % 18.29’unun ise suç anında alkol ve/veya madde etkisi altında oldukları
bulunmuştur. Alkol ve/veya madde ile suç arasındaki ilişki cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim ve gelir durumu, aile
yapısı ve medeni durum gibi çeşitli sosyodemografik özellikler ile etkileşebilir ve bunlar alkol ve/veya
madde kullanımı ve suç işlemenin risk faktörleri olabilirler. Cezaevinde yaşanan sağlık problemleri
genel sağlık problemlerinden farklı özellikler gösterir. Alkol ve/veya madde yoksunluğu bu sorunların
en önemlilerinden biridir. Ülkemizde alkol ve/veya madde kullanımı ile suç arasındaki ilişki daha fazla
önemsenmeli, daha fazla araştırma yapılmalı ve rehabilitasyon programları oluşturulmalıdır.
Alcohol and substance use frequency in the female inmates of anİstanbul prison before the conviction
The relationship between substance abuse and crime is an important issue which needs to be
investigated for both social, economical and medical problems it causes. The prevention is to be
established. The research on this topic has not recevied much attention in Turkey. Although these are a
number of studies in developed countries The aim of the study is to state the importance of the issue.
39.02 of the subjects is this study have used alcohol and/ or subtance at any time in their life
span. Of the subjects, 18.29 % were under the influence of the alcohol and/or subtance. The alcohol
and/ or subtance abuse is reiated to crime. Such relationship can imteract with gender, age, education,
family structure and marital status. Those can be risk factors forboth the abuse and the crime.Prison
healtcare is differant form the healthcare elsewhere Detoxification and withdrawal problems are of
those prison healthcare problems.
Turkey needs more studies on crime and alcohol- substance abuse. The rehabilitation programs
have to be set up in prison conditions.
