Pediyatristler Tarafından İstenen Çocuk Psikiyatrisi Konsültasyonları: Bir İnceleme

Amaç pediyatrist tarafından çocuk psikiyatrisine gönderilen hastalarda, pediyatrist ve psikiyatristin tanılarının ne ölçüde uyumlu olduğunu, hastaların ne kadarında ruhsal bozukluk bulunduğunu, hasta ve ailelerin pediyatrist tarafından psikiyatriye nasıl yönlendirildiklerini ve ailelerin psikiyatri konsültasyonuna tepkilerini incelemektir. Yöntem: Bu amaçla Dr. Sami ulus Çocuk Hastanesi çocuk psikiyatrisi bölümüne yaklaşık dört ay boyunca pediyatri polikliniğinden gönderilen 150 hasta araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Bulgular: Hastaların %92'sinde ruhsal bozukluk saptanmıştır. Pediyatrist ve psikiyatristin tanıları %55 oranında uyumlu bulunmuştur. Ailelerin yalnızca %9'u pediyatrist tarafından bilgilendirilerek psikiyatriye gönderilmiştir. Ailelerin %39'u psikiyatri konsültasyonunu olumlu karşıladıklarını ifade etmiştir. Tartışma:Bulgular literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.
