Dikkat Eksikliği ve Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu (DEHB) teşhisi konulan çocuk ve ergenlerin sağlıklı kontrol grubuna göre zihin kuramı becerilerinde bozukluk olup olmadığını araştırmaktır. Çalışmaya, Hasta grubu olarak Uludağ Üniversitesi Çocuk ve Ergen Psikiyatrisi polikliniğinde DSM-V’e göre 40 DEHB tanısı alan 10-16 yaş grubu çocuk; kontrol grubu olarak ise polikliniğimize başvurmuş olup herhangi bir psikiyatrik tanı almayan 40 çocuk alınmıştır. Olguların sosyodemografik özellikleri ayrıntılı bir formla değerlendirilirken; zekâ gelişimi ve zihin kuramı becerilerini de araştırmak üzere nöropsikolojik testler uygulanmıştır. Psikopatolojileri değerlendirmek için Okul Çağı Çocukları İçin Duygulanım Bozuklukları ve Şizofreni Görüşme Çizelgesi-Şimdi ve Yaşam boyu Versiyonu Türkçe uyarlaması (ÇDŞG-ŞY) uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılanların zihin kuramı becerilerini değerlendirmek için Gözlerden Zihin Okuma Testi ve yanlış inanç testlerinden Sally-Anne Testi, Bonibon Testi, Çikolata Testi, Dondurma Kamyonu Testi uygulanmıştır. Gruplar arasında birinci düzey zihin kuramı testlerinde anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır (p=0,152). İkinci düzey zihin kuramı testlerinde DEHB’li grubun anlamlı düzeyde başarısız olduğu bulunmuştur (p=0,002). İleri düzey zihin kuramı testi olan gözler testinde de DEHB’li olan grup daha başarısız olmuştur (p=0,006). DEHB’de zihin kuramı defisitinin var olduğu ve zihin kuramı defisitinin tanı koyma ve tedavi açısından mevcut yöntemlere ek olarak yeni yöntemlerle tekrar gözden geçirilmesinin gerekli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the children and adolescents diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), whether they have disorder in theory of mind abilities compared with the healthy control group. For the study as patient group we took 40 children aged 10-16 diognased with ADHD according to DSM-V in Uludag University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Policlinic, as control group we took 40 children admitted to our policlinic but receiving any psychiatric diagnosis. While sociodemographic characteristics of the patients were being evaluated with a detailed form; neuropsychological tests were implemented to investigate the intelligence development and theory of mind skills. To evaluate psychopathologies Kiddie-Sads Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia Schedule for School Age Children Present and Lifetime Version (Turkish) version (K-SADSPL) were implemented. The Hinting test, Eye Reading Test, Sally-Anne Test, Smarties Test, Chocolate Test, and Ice Cream Truck Test were applied to evaluate the mind theorists skills of the participants. No significant difference was found between the groups in the first level the theory of mind tests (p = 0,152). In the second level of theory of mind theory, the group with ADHD was found to have failed significantly (p = 0.002). The group with ADHD was also more unsuccessful in the eyes test with advanced the theory of mind test (p = 0.006). It has been found that there is deficit of theory of mind in ADHD. It has been concluded that the existence of the deficit of the theory of mind is required to be re-examined with new methods when diagnosing and treating
