Bu çalışmada EMDR yöntemi ile ele alınmış 2 vaka sunumu bulunmaktadır. İlk vakada polis olan eşini toplumsal bir olayda kaybeden kadının travmatik semptomları ile baş edememesinin ardından terapiye başlaması ele alınmıştır. Terapiye başladığında travmatik anısının üzerinden 5 ay geçmiştir ve EMDR ile çalışılmaya başlanmıştır. Diğer vaka ise bir sağlık çalışanıdır ve panik atak şikayeti ile terapiye başlamıştır. Terapi sürecinde sağlık çalışanının, geçmişte işyerinde çalıştığı travmatik olay deneyimleyen insanların kendi üzerinde böyle bir etki bırakacağını, yaşamını böyle etkileyebileceğini hiç düşünmemişti. EMDR ile çalışılan sağlık personelinin geçmiş travmatik yaşantıları ile yüzleşmesi ve yaşamının işlevselliğinin düzelmesini bu çalışmada bulacaksınız.

In this study, there are 2 cases presented by EMDR method. In the first case, you can see the analyze of traumatic symptoms of a woman who can not cope with the loss of her police officer husband who died in a social event. When she started to therapy it has been already 5 months since incident happened and the case was carried by EMDR. In the other case, the patient is a healthcare personnel and he started to therapy with panic attack complain. Through therapy sessions, this healthcare personnel stated that he never guessed that the experiences he has been through would affect him and his life in such a way. This study presents how patient faced his past traumatic experiences and how his life got back on its track by EMDR.
