"Piaget Bilişsel Gelişim Testi-PBGT", J. Piagefnin Bilişsel Gelişim Teorisine dayanarak hazırlanmış olan ve Somut İşlemler Devresine yönelik bir testtir. Bu araştırmada, testin güvenilirlik çalışması ve bir zeka testiyle ilişkisi yer almaktadır. Test, biri Örnek soru, biri İşlem Öncesi, 21'i Somut İşlemler ve biri de Formal İşlemler devresine ait toplam 24 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Sorular, korunum, ben merkezcilikten sıyrılabilme, sıralama yapabilme, kategorilendirebilme, dönüşümler yapabilme, ahlaki hükümler gibi zihinsel işlemleri kapsamaktadır. Bilişsel Gelişim Testi'nin yanı sıra zekayı ölçmek için WISC-R kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar, birden beşinci sınıfa kadar toplam 300 ilkokul öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. PBGT'nin Cronbach Alfa katsayısı.86 olup test puanı yaş ve smıf arttıkça bir artış göstermektedir. WISC-R Sözel Puanıyla PBGT arasında, Performans Puanıyla PBGT arasında ve WISC~R Toplam Puanıyla PBGT arasında anlamlı korelasyon vardır.

"The Piagetian Cognitive Development Test-PCDT", which is a test conducted based on J. Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory, is about the Concrete Operations Stage. In this study, the reliability of the test and Piaget's views on intelligence were examined. The Test is composed of total 24 items; a sample question, an item on Preoperational Stage, 21 items on Concrete Operational Stage and one item on Formal Operational Stage. Items include operations such as conservation, ordering, categorisation, reversibility and moral reasoning. Besides the PCDT, WISC-R was used to assess intelligence. The respondents were composed of 300 primary school children between first and fifth grades. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the PCDT is.86 and test scores increase with age and class. There are significant positive corelations between WISC-R Verbal Score, Performance Score, Total Score and the PCDT.
