Anket formları ile, ailelerle çalışan veya çalışmayan, tüm uzmanlara
ulaşmak hedeflenmiş; araştırmaya bu merkezlerde çalışan
psikiyatristler alınmamış ve örneklem 'Psikolojik danışman, psikolog
ve klinik psikologlar' ile sınırlı tutulmuştur, 15 merkezde çalışan ve
doldurabilecek kişilere formlar dağıtılmış ve ancak 37 form geri
dönmüştür.
Toplanan datanın niceliksel işlenmesinde SPSS paket istatistik
programı kullanılmıştır.
Çalışmanın sonuçları, danışma merkezlerindeki uzmanların bü
yük bir çoğunluğunun ailelerle çalışmayı tercih ettiğini göstermektedir.
Örneklemin %89'u Aile Danışmanlığı ile Aile Terapisi arasında
bir fark olduğunu düşünmektedir. Uzmanların çoğunluğu çalışmalarına
temel oluşturacak eğitimler almaktadır, ancak bu eğitimler daha
ziyade bağımsız kurslar, derslerden oluşmaktadır. Ayrıca uzmanların
"kendilerini yetkin görüşleri" ile, hem "kaç yıldır" alanda çalıştıkları,
hem de "ne kadar kişi ile çalıştıkları" arasında anlamlı
ilişkiler izlenmektedir.
Family Therapy has a history more than 50 years; yet;
counselling with Families, is a relatively new area. Especially in the
school settings or in the Private Counselling Centers both services,
are more and more needed.
In some Universities, at Psychology Departments, the courses
on "Family Therapy" and at Programs of Counselling and
Guidance, courses on "Family counselling" are offered to students.
In spite of this great interest, we do not have much research to
describe the services provided in the school settings or in the Priva?te Counselling Centers.
In this article the results of a small survey will be presented. The
aim of the study was to investigate the work being done with
families in counselling centes. 15 private Counselling Service
agreed to take part in this research and 35 specialists filled out the
questionnaires. Psychiatrists were not included into the sample. A
questionnaire developed by the researcher has been used to collect
data. The data has been analysed by SPSS statistical package
program.
The results of the survey, indicates that majority of the partici?pants, make Family counselling and Family Therapy. For many of
them, there was a differentiation between Family Counselling and
Family Therapy.
Majority of the group received their trainings from short-term
independent seminars and courses.
There were meaningful relationships between 'how competent' a
specialist perceives himself and both his 'years of experience ' as well
as' the number of cases he had".
