Adli psikiyatri geleneksel olarak adli amaçla olguların değerlendirilmesi ve mahkemelere bu konuda görüş bildirilmesi ile ilgilidir. Ancak adli psikiyatrik konular kaçınılmaz olarak ila zıt kutupları olduğundan karmaşıktırlar ve bu nedenle adli psikiyatrist birçok etik sorunla karşılaşır. Yazıda, ülkemize özel etik sorunlar tartışılmış ve çözümler önerilmiştir.

Forensic psychiatry conventionally refers to the services of professionals who evaluate cases and give opinion in court about legal matters. The complexity of medicolegal matters is inevitably divided into two opposite sides and for this reason forensic psychiatrists may confront to many ethical dilemmas. In the paper, forensic ethical problems specific for our country are discussed and their solutions are proposed.
