Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının endişe seviyelerini incelemektir. Hart (1987) tarafından geliştirilen ve Morton (1997) tarafından uyarlanan Aday Öğretmen Endişe Ölçeği Boğaziçi Üniversite'si nde farklı bölümlerde eğitim gören 125 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan her bireyin endişe seviyesi, bölümü, cinsiyeti ve ortalaması bilgi toplama formu ile; pedagoji, sınıf yönetimi, personel ilişkileri, mentör öğretmen veya müdür tarafından denetim ve benzeri sorunlar alt ölçekler yardımı ile incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler t-test ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan aday öğretmenler için cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Bunula birlikte sınıf yönetimi, pedagoji ve değerlendirme açısından anlamlı farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır.

The purpose of the study is to examine the levels of anxiety for student teachers. Student Teacher Anxiety Scale (STAS) which was prepared by Hart (1987) and modified by Morton (1997) was used to student teachers in Bogaziçi University. The questionnaire was applied to 125 students at the Faculty of Education. Students are from various departments and genders. Information about each individual’s anxiety levels, department, gender and GPA are gathered from the questionnaires. Sub-scales are related to regarding pedagogy, classroom management, staff relations, and evaluation of their performance by their mentor and supervisor, and any other related problems. The difference between the groups was statistically analyzed by t-test. The result showed that there is no statistically significant difference between gender groups. In addition, students were significantly anxious about evaluation, classroom management, and pedagogy.
