Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin psikolojik sağlamlık düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir.Yöntem: Kesitsel olan çalışmanın örneklemini bir hemşirelik okulunda öğrenim gören 265 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Bilgi Formu, Yılmazlık Ölçeği ve Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ortalama, standart sapma, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, pearson korelasyon analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Öğrencilerin psikolojik sağlamlık puan ortalamaları 193.71±25.94’dır. Psikolojik sağlamlık ile stresle başa çıkma tarzları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ve stresle başa çıkma tarzlarının psikolojik sağlamlık toplam varyansının %34’ünü açıkladığı bulunmuştur. Ayrıca erkek cinsiyetinde olan, anne-babası çalışmayan, geniş ailede yaşayan, koruyucu-kollayıcı ve otoriter aile tutumuna sahip olan ve ailesiyle ilişkisi kötü olan öğrencilerin psikolojik sağlamlık düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır.Tartışma ve Sonuç: Literatürle uyumlu olarak öğrencilerin psikolojik sağlamlık düzeyleri stresle başa çıkma tarzlarından, bireysel ve aile özelliklerinden etkilenmektedir. Bu nedenle psikolojik sağlamlık düzeyi düşük olan öğrencilerin belirlenmesi ve psikolojik açıdan güçlendirilmeleri önemlidir.

Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the resilience levels of nursing students according to various variables. Method: The respondents of this cross-sectional study were 265 students who were studying at a school of nursing. The data was collected through an Information Form prepared by the researchers, Resilience Scale, and Ways of Coping Inventory. In order to analyze the data mean, standard deviation, t test, oneway analysis of variance, pearson correlation test and multiple regression analysis were used. Results: The mean score of resilience of students was 193.71±25.94. It is discovered that there is a meaningful relationship between the resilience and style of coping with stress, and their style of coping with stress explains 34% of the total variation of resilience. Moreover, it is found out that the resilience level of the male students, whose parents do not work, live in large families, have protective and authoritarian families and have bad relationships with their families was noticeably low. Discussion and Conclusion: In line with literature, resilience level of the students is influenced by their style of coping with stress and personal or family characteristics. Therefore, it is crucial to identify the students who have low level of resilience and empower them psychologically.
