Son yıllarda, ruh sağlığı uzmanlarının şizofreni tedavisinde psikofarmakolojik yöntemleri tamamlayan bilişsel ve davranışçı tekniklere karşı artan bir ilgisi olmuştur. Şizofreninin pozitif ve negatif belirtilerinin tedavisinde birçok yaklaşım kullanılmaktadır. Bu gözden geçirmede, bir kaç on yıldır şizofreni tedavisinde kullanılmakta olan bilişsel ve davranışçı yöntemlere ilişkin tarihsel bir bakış sunulacaktır. Yazı, özellikle pozitif belirtiler üzerine odaklanmıştır. Son gelişmelerle birlikte tekniklerin kullanımları tanımlanacaktır.

In the past few [year]s, there is a growing interest amongst mental health proffessionals in cognitive - behavioural therapies of schizophrenia as a complement to the psycho-pharmacological methods. Many different approaches have been employed in the treatment of negative and positive symptoms of schizophrenia. In this review, the historical overview traces the development of cognitive - behavioural treatments for psychotic patients over the last few decades. The review will focus mainly on positive psychotic symptoms. The recent developments and practical use of techniques are described.
