In this article the author uses “transition" concept for two reasons: the first one concerns the phenomena which was defined by Winnicott. The other one points out the transitional space between two groups which benefit from two different disciplines and therapeutic techniques that are new for Turkey and transitional experiences which would occur in this space. The healing power of the psychoanalytic space is ensured through symbols. Action may delay or may inhibit symbolization. Play and actions occuring in psychodrama stage are also symbols of experiences and memories, not the life itself. Moreno defined the psychodrama technique as dramatization of the couch. Now in Turkey there is a new meeting, an encounter among psychodramatists and psychoanalysts. Since both area were actually derived from the same source, psychoanalytic theory, this encounter may provide a "third space" which may contain reciprocal interaction for both group members.
