In this article the author reflects upon the indications and aims in the use of individual psychoanalytic psychodrama with adolescents. He begins with a brief description of the psychodramatic setting, then proceeds with a comprehensive study of the psychic economy in adolescents. The psychoanalytic psychodrama with the help of the existence of several players, enables to avoid the traumatic impact which is a severe issue for certain adolescents who are not able to cope with the threats linked to the object in a dual relationship.
