Aşka İlişkin Tutum Biçimlerinin Olumlu ve Olumsuz Duyguları Yordayıcılığı

Bu çalışmada aşka ilişkin tutum biçimlerinin (tut-kulu aşk, oyun gibi aşk, arkadaşça aşk, mantıklı aşk, sahiplenici aşk ve özgeci aşk) olumlu ve olumsuz duy-guları yordayıcılığı incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, Aşka İlişkin Tutumlar Ölçeği: Kısa Formu ile Olumlu ve Olumsuz Duygu Ölçeği Orta Doğu Teknik Üniver-sitesi’nin değişik fakültelerinde lisans üstü eğitimlerine devam eden 133 (70 kadın, 63 erkek) öğrenciye uygu-lanmıştır. Katılımcıların olumlu ve olumsuz duygu pu-anları üzerinde ayrı ayrı yürütülen standart çoklu regre-syon analizi sonuçları, tutkulu aşk biçiminin hem olumlu hem de olumsuz duyguyu yordadığını; sahiplenici aşk ve özgeci aşk biçimlerinin ise olumsuz duygunun anlamlı düzeyde yordayıcıları olduğunu göstermiştir.
Love Attitude Styles as the Predictors of Positive and Negative Affect
Present study investigated the extent to which love
attitude styles (passionate love (Eros), possessive/
dependent love (Mania), practical love (Pragma),
selfless love (Agape), game-playing love (Ludus), and
companionate love (Storge) types) predicted the
positive and negative affect. For this purpose, Love
Attitude Scale: Short Form and Positive and Negative
Affect Schedule were administered to 133 (70 women,
63 men) graduate students enrolled in various faculties
of Middle East Technical University. The results of two
separate standard multiple regression analysis revealed
that passionate love style (Eros) was the significant
predictor of both positive and negative affect whereas
possessive/dependent love style (Mania) and selfless
love (Agape) were found to be the significant predictors
of negative affect.
