Polis Akademisi Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik (PDR) Büro Amirliklerinde gelişimsel rehberlik modeline geçiş için proje başlatılmıştır. AR-GE modeli ile yürütülen projenin temel hede? , emniyet amiri ve memuru adaylarının yaşam kariyeri gelişimlerini desteklemek için Kapsamlı Gelişimsel Rehberlik Programı (KGRP) tasarlamak, uygulamak, değerlendirmek ve revize etmektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Polis Akademisi için tasarlanan KGRP’nın orta vadeli ve görüş taramasına dayalı değerlendirme yöntemi ile elde edilen verileri okuyucuya aktarmaktır. KGRP’nin değerlendirilmesi için 265 öğrenciye yılsonu değerlendirme anketi uygulanmış, PDR Büro Amirliği’nde çalışan üç personel ile odak grup görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Nicel veri analizinde, anketten elde edilen verilerin frekans ve yüzdelikleri; nitel veri analizinde ise betimsel içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Nicel veriler incelendiğinde, öğrencilerin proje çalışmalarını benimsedikleri, KGRP’yi şimdi ve gelecek yaşamlarında kendileri için yararlı olarak algıladıkları ve gelişimsel odaklı çalışmaların devam etmesini istedikleri belirlenmiştir. Nitel veriler genel olarak incelendiğinde ise, gelişimsel odaklı PDR Büro amirliğinin çalışmalarının tedavi odaklı değil gelişimsel ve önleyici odaklı yürütülmeye başlanıldığı; sınıf rehberliği, psikoeğitim programları ile gruplar halinde daha fazla öğrenci ile etkileşime geçildiği; görünür ve somut uygulamalar nedeni ile hem öğrenciler hem de idari personelle güvene dayalı etkileşim kurulmaya başlanıldığı; ekip odaklı ve kanıt temelli çalıştıkları; psikolojik danışmanların KGRP yönetimine daha fazla zaman ayırdıkları belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen orta vadeli değerlendirme verileri, Polis Akademisi öğrencileri için tasarlanan KGRP’nin hizmeti sunan psikolojik danışmanlar ve hizmeti alan öğrencilere göre yararlı ve devam etmesi gereken bir program olduğunu göstermiştir.

A project has been initiated in Police Academy Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, for shifting their guidance approach to developmental guidance model. The main goal of this research-development modeled project is to design, implement, evaluate and revise Comprehensive Developmental Guidance Program (CDGP) for the sake of supporting life career development of candidate chief police and police of? cers. The purpose of this study is to share medium-term evaluation data of Police Academy CDGP. In order to evaluate CDGP in medium-term, a questionnaire has been applied to students at the end of the term, and a focus group discussion has been made with Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department staff. Frequency and percentage techniques have been used on data obtained from questionnaire for quantitative data analysis, and descriptive content analysis has been used for qualitative data analysis. It is identi? ed from quantitative data analysis that; students adopted project works, they perceived CDGP as bene? cial for their current and future life, and they want developmental focused works to continue. When qualitative data were analyzed, it was found out that; developmental focused works of Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department has been shifted to preventive and developmental oriented approach from treatment oriented, interaction with students has been enhanced with the help of classroom guidance and psycho-education programs, a ? duciary interaction has been formed with students and administrative staff due to observable and concrete practices, and psychological counselors have more time for CDGP administration in schools with team focused and proof based works. Obtained medium- term evaluation data show us, CDGP designed for Police Academy Students is a helpful and must continue program for both students and psychological counselors as practitioners.
