Amaç: Cinsel gelişim bozukluğu gonadlarla iç veI veya dış genital yapının uyumsuz olmasıdır. Bu durum dış genital org anların farklı görünmesinin yanı sıra meme gelişimi, kıllanma gibi ikincil cinsiyet özelliklerinin yetiştirildiği cinsiyetten farklı gelişmesine ve doğurganlıklarını sağlayan süreçlerin etkilenmesine neden olabilmektedir. Çalışmamızda olgu örnekleri ile cinsel gelişim bozukluklarının takip ve tedavi sürecinin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Yöntem: Göztepe Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesinde cinsel gelişim bozukluğu tanısı ile takip edilen yedi olgunun cinsiyet tayini ve cinsel kimlik gelişim süreci tartışılmıştır. Sonuçlar: Olguların üçü cinsel kimlik sorunu nedeni ile takibe alınmıştır. Üçünün ailesine destek verilmiştir. Birinin ise takibine ara verilmiştir. Tartışma: Cinsel gelişim bozukluklarının tanı, takip ve tedavisinde multidisipliner yaklaşım önemlidir.

Sexual development disorder is an discordance of gonads and internal and/or external ge-nitalia. This state may leadto external genitalia appearing differently as well as an abnormal maturity of secondary sex characteristics including breast development and hair growth and thus may affect processes enabling fertility. The main aim of this study was to investigate theprocess of assessment and treatment sexual development disorder with case examples. Method: Theprocess of genderassessmentandsexualidentity-development of seven casesdiagnosed as having a sexualdevelopmentdisorder whowerefollowed up at Istanbul Göztepe Educationaland TrainingHospital is discussed. Results:Three patients were followed-up due to the sexual identity problem. Three families were given psychiatric support. One patient's follow-up has been suspended. Discussion: A multidisciplinary approach is essential in thediagnosis, follow-up and treatment of sexual development disorders.
