Alkol bağımlılığı önemli bir sağlık sorunudur. Alkol bağımlılığı hem yetişkinleri hem de gençleri etkileyen ciddi bir problemdir. Alkol bağımlılığının toplumdaki yaygınlığı yaklaşık % 7 kadardır. Alkol bağımlılığı içme ve içmeme dönemleri ile değişik özellikler göstermektedir. Bu yazıda alkol bağımlılığı epidemiyoloji, etyoloji ve prognoz özellikleri açılarından gözden geçirilmiştir.

Alcohol Dependence; Epidemiology, Etiology and Prognosis

Alcohol dependence represent a major public health problem. Alcohol dependence is serious problems that affect both adult and teenage populations. The prevalance of alcohol dependence are about 7 % in the general population. Alcohol dependence have a variable course that is frequently characterized by periods of remission and relapse. In this article, Alcohol dependence has been reviewed with different characteristics as epidemiology, etiology and prognosis.
