Transvers myelitisli bir olguda klinik görünüm, otoantikor profili, MRI bulguları ışığında sistemik lupus eritematozus (SLE) tanısını ve tedavisini tartıştık. Otuz iki yaşında SLE tanısıyla takip altındayken kliniğimize her iki bacağında güçsüzlük, duyu kaybı idrar kaçırması ve şiddetli bel arısı şikayetleriyle başvuran bayan hastada parapleji, T9 seviye altında hipoestezi, mesane disfonksiyonu bulgularıyla çekilen Spinal MRI'da C2-T12 seviyeleri arasında spinal kordda hafif yaygın şişme ve T1ve T2 sekanslarda sinyal artışı saptandı. Pulse siklofosfamid, yüksek doz kortikosteroid tedavisi ile hastada olumlu yanıt alındı.

In this case report, the clinical presentation, autoantibody profile, MRI findings, treatment and outcome of case of acute transverse myelitis(ATM) are reported in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We described a 32 [year]s old woman with SLE who developed paraparlysis and hypoesthesia below T9 level. Clinically, She had manifested as leg weakness, bladder dysfunction, severe low back pain and lower limb sensory loss.MRI showed slight diffuse swelling and increased T1 and T2 intensity of longitudinal involvement of spinal cord from C2 to T12 level. She responsed to treatment with pulse cyclophosphamide and high dose corticosteroids with quite recovery.
