Amaç: Hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan kronik böbrek yetmezlikli hastaların psikososyal açıdan sağlıklı kontrol grubuyla
karşılaştırılması amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya hemodiyaliz tedavisi altındaki 93 hasta ile 53 sağlıklı
birey alındı. Hastalara ve kontrol grubuna sosyodemoğrafik veri formu ile Belirti Tarama listesi (SCL-90, Symptom
Check List-90) uygulandı. Bulgular: Çalışmamızda son dönem böbrek yetmezliği nedeniyle hemodiyaliz tedavisi
alan hastalarda SCL-90’ın birçok alt skor değerleri (obsesif belirtiler, depresif belirtiler, kişiler arası ilişkilerde
duyarlılık, psikotik belirtiler, paranoid belirtiler, alt skorlar ve genel belirti indeksi) kontrol grubuna göre istatistiksel
anlamlılık oluşturacak düzeyde düşüktü. Sonuç: Çalışmamızda hemodiyaliz tedavisi altındaki hastaların uzun
süredir tedavi görmeleri ve büyük oranda aileleriyle birlikte yaşamaları bu sonuca katkıda bulunmuş olabilir.

Objective: The aim of this study was to make a comparison among patients with hemodialysis and healthy
volunteers. Methods: The 93 patients treated with hemodialysis, and 53 healthy volunteers were included our
study. Socio-demographic data form and SCL-90 (Symptom Check List-90) were given to both groups. Results:
In our study, many subscores of SCL-90 (obsession, depression, interpersonal susceptibility, psychotic, paranoia
and general symptom index) have decreased in end-stage renal disease patients with hemodialysis than healthy
volunteers so as to produce statistical meaningfulness. Conclusion: In this study, some characteristics of
hemodialysis patients, including longer treatment duration and living together with their family, may contribute to
the this result.
