Amaç: Bu çalışmada bir üniversite hastanesinin Konsültasyon Liyezon Psikiyatrisi (KLP) polikliniğinden istenen
konsültasyonların geriye dönük değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir.
Yöntem: İlk bir yıl içinde istenen tüm konsültasyonlar demografik özellikler, konsültasyonu isteyen klinik,
istek nedeni, psikiyatrik tanılar ve önerilen sağaltım yaklaşımları açısından değerlendirildi. Bütün konsültasyonlar
için konsültasyonu isteyen hekim tarafından doldurulan rutin konsültasyon formu ile KLP konsültasyon
formu incelendi. Çalışmaya psikiyatri kliniği dışındaki kliniklerde yatan hastalar ve polikliniklerden istenen
yeni konsültasyonlar alındı.
Bulgular: Konsültasyonların 1172'si yatan hastalardan, 899'u ise poliklinik hastalarından oluşmaktaydı. Konsültasyon
isteyen ilk üç klinik; iç hastalıkları (% 22), nöroloji (% 17.5) ve dermatoloji (% 15.1) idi. Hastaların
en sık eksen 1 tanıları; major depresif bozukluk (% 28.9), uyum bozukluğu (% 25.6) ve distimik bozukluk
(%11.4) idi. Eksen 2 tanı olguların %15.7'si nde saptandı. Sağaltımda % 64.1 oranında antidepresan başlandığı,
% 9.3 oranında ise herhangi bir farmakolojik sağaltımın önerilmediği görüldü.
Sonuç: Tıbbi hastalığa eşlik eden psikiyatrik bozukluğun tanınması ve sağaltımı, tıbbi hastalığın seyrini ve
hastanın sağaltıma uyumunu etkileyen etmenlerdir. Bu bozuklukların tanınması için KLP birimlerinin kurulmasına
ve böylece diğer kliniklerle işbirliğinin sağlanmasına ihtiyaç vardır.

Objective: The aim of this study was to retrospectively evaluate the consultations wanted from Consultation-Liasion Unit (CLU) of a university
hospital.
Method: All consultations received in the first [year] of the unit were evaluated regarding the demographic features, the department consultation
received from, reason for the requirement of consultation, psychiatric diagnosis and the recommended treatment approaches. Standart
consultation form which was fulfilled by the physician who had wanted the consultation and CLU consultation form were evaluated. Initial
consultations from clinics other than psychiatry were included in the study.
Results: 1172 people consultated to CLU were inpatients whereas 899 were outpatients. The Internal Medicine Department (22%), the Neurology
Department (17.5%) and the Dermatology Department (15.1%) were the departments that mostly wanted consultation from CLU. Major
Depressive Disorder (28.9 %), Adjustment Disorders (25.6 %) and Dysthymic Disorder (11.4 %) were the most common axis one disorders,
while axis two disorders were detected in 15.7% of the patients. In 64.1% of the patients the treatment was iniated with antidepressants,
whereas 9.3% of the consulted cases received no medical treatment.
Conclusion: The recognition and the treatment of psychiatric disorders accompaniying a medical condition has an impact on the progress
and the compliance of the treatment process. For this reason establishment of CLUs and collaboration of these units with other departments
is crucial.
