Sınav kaygısı birçok öğrenci için akademik yaşamlarında önemli bir problemdir ve eğitim başarısı önündeki en ciddi engeldir. Bu çalışmada lise öğrencilerinin sınav kaygısı düzeyi üzerine sınav kaygısı ile başaçıkma eğitiminin etkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.
Ön-test son-test kontrol gruplu düzende gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul’da bir lisede öğrenim gören öğrenciler (N=1067); araştırmanın örneklemini ise 34 kişi deney, 36 kişi kontrol grubu öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Deney grubundaki öğrencilere sınav kaygısı ile başaçıkma eğitimi verilmiş, kontrol grubuna ise herhangi bir girişim uygulanmamıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarına uygulamanın başında tanıtıcı anket formu, Sınav Kaygısı Ölçeği, uygulamanın sonunda ise Sınav Kaygısı Ölçeği uygulanmıştır..
Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma, frekans ve yüzdelik testi, t-testi, ki-kare yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
Çalışmaya alınan deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin bireysel ve aile özelliklerinin dağılımı ve sınav kaygısı ölçeği puanı açısından homojen oldukları, aralarında istatistiksel olarak bir anlamlılık bulunmadığı saptanmıştır.
Uygulama sonrası deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin sınav kaygısı puanı açısından karşılaştırılmasında deney grubunun sınav kaygısı puanının kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede düşük olduğu bulunmuştur (t= 2.294, p=0.025).
Deney grubunun eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası sınav kaygısı puanlarının karşılaştırılmasında eğitim sonrası sınav kaygısı puanının eğitim öncesi puanına göre anlamlı derecede düştüğü bulunmuştur (t=4.385, p=0.000)
Kontrol grubunun eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası sınav kaygısı puanlarının karşılaştırılmasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır (t=0.804, p= 0.427).
Öğrencilerin sınav kaygısının üstesinden gelebilmesi için gerekli önlemlerin alınmasında ve uygun tekniklerle gerekli girişimlerin uygulanmasında okul ruh sağlığı hizmetlerinin önemi büyüktür. Elde edilen verilerin okul ruh sağlığı çalışmalarında rehberlik edeceği düşünülmektedir.

Test anxiety is an important problem of
many students in their academical life and is a
deadly serious difficulty of education success. In
this study, it is aimed to determine effects of
trainings onto coping with test anxiety. The
application was performed onto students they
are studiying in a high school in Istanbul (N=
1607) in an order with pre-test and final-test of
control group. 34 students were in exemplary
group and 36 students were in control group. It
is given training of coping with test anxiety to
exemplary group but not to control group. Both
two groups were applied presenter questionary
form and test anxiety scale before aplication.
The test anxiety scale was repeated following to
application. The datas evaluated by the methods
of arithmetical mean, standart deviation,
frequency and percentage test, t – test and
ki-square method. It was determined the students
in test group are homogeneous in terms
of individual and their family characteristics and
test anxiety scale point, and they have no mean
statistically among themselves. Test anxienty
points of test group is meaningful less than
control group’s by comparing of test anxienty
point of both group students following the application.

points of test group following the training is
meaningful less than points before the training.
(t=4.385, p=0.000). There are meaningful differences
of the control group’s test anxienty points
before training with points following the training
(t=0.804, p= 0.427). The psychological healt
care in the school is very important to take precautions
for coping with test anxienty, and
carrying out the applications necessary. It is
expected that the datas obtained will be guide
for psychological healt studies.
