Demiyelinizan Polinöropatilerde İntravenöz İmmünglobulin G'nin Etkinliği

Amaç: İntravenöz immünglobulinin (İVİG) demiyelinizan polinöropatilerdeki etkinliğinin gösterimesi.
Yöntem: 29 Guillain-Barré Sendromu (GBS), 6 Kronik İnflamatuar Demiyelinizan Polinöropati (KİDP) hastasının İVİG verilmeden önce ve verildikten sonra fonksiyonel skala puanlarının karşılaştırılması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 29 GBS hastasının 23'ünde tedaviden sonra ilk 1 ay içinde fonksiyonel skalada bir puan düzelme gözlendi. 6 KİDP hastasının birinin puanında düzelme gözlenirken, diğerleri subjektif olarak iyileşme ifade etmiştir.
Sonuç: İVİG'in özellikle GBS'de etkin ve güvenli olduğunu düşünmekteyiz.

Effectiveness of Intravenous Immunoglobulin G in Demyelinating Polyneuropathies

Objective: The objective of this study is to show the effectiveness of intravenous immunglobulin (IVIG) in demyelinating polyneuropathics.
Method: 29 Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and 6 Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) patients participated in this study. 23 of 29 GBS patients were observed to have recovered one point in functional scale after the treatment. Recovery was observed in one of the 6 CIDP patients.
Results: We suggest IVIG is effective and safe in GBS.
