Etkili İlişkiler İçin Davranışsal Öz- Düzenleme Ölçeği’ni Türkçeye Uyarlama, Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı, çift ilişkilerinde davranışsal öz düzenleme ile ilgili toplamaya yardımcı olan Etkili İlişkiler İçin Davranışsal Öz-Düzenleme Ölçeği’nin Türkiye için geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Araştırmaya bir yıl ve bir yıldan uzun süredir evli olan 151 Çift (302 kişi) katılmıştır. Uyum geçerliğini sınamak amacıyla Depresyon Anksiyete Stres Ölçeği’nin Depresyon alt ölçeği ile Evlilik Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği ve Çiftler Uyum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini sınamak adına yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda EİDÖDÖ’nün ben ve partner faktörlerinin strateji boyutundaki 1-2 ve 7-8 nolu maddelerinin modifikasyonu sonrasında strateji ve efor alt boyutlu ben ve partner faktörünün uyum iyiliği indekslerinin tüm değerlerinin kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçeğin benzer ölçeklerle uyum geçerliliğine bakıldığında ben ve partner faktörünün strateji ve efor alt boyutlarının benzer ölçeklerle anlamlı derecede ilişkili olduğu görülmüştür. Etkili İlişkiler İçin Davranışsal Öz Düzenleme Ölçeği’nin ben faktörünün strateji ve efor alt boyutlarının Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı sırasıyla .85 ve .63; partner faktörünün strateji ve efor alt boyutlarının Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı sırasıyla .92 ve .71 bulunmuştur. EİDÖDÖ, 5’li likert tipli 32 maddeden, Ben ve partner olmak üzere iki temel faktör ve bu faktörlere ait strateji ve efor şeklinde iki alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Analizler, EİDÖDÖ’nün Türkçe formunun, Türkiye örneklemi için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.
Adaptation of Behavioral Self-Regulation for Effective Relationships Scale: Turkish Version Validation and Reliability Study
The aim of this study is to examine psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Behavioral SelfRegulation for Effective Relationships scale (BSRERS). 151 couples (302 individuals) who have been married for one year and more than one year participated in the study. To test the validity of the scale a confirmatory factor analysis was performed. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis conducted to test the validity of the scale, after the modification of the items 1-2 and 7-8 in the strategy sub-dimension of BSRERS’s self and partner factors it was observed that all the values of the goodness of fit for self and partner factors strategy and effort sub-dimensions were acceptable. When concurrent validity of the scale was examined, it was seen that the strategy and effort subdimensions of the self and the partner factor were significantly correlated with similar scales. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient of the strategy and effort sub-dimensions of the self factor was found to be .85 and .63; Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient of strategy and effort sub-dimensions of partner factor was found to be 92 and 71, respectively for the Behavioral Self- Regulation for Effective Relationships Scale. BSRERS consist 32 items of 5 Likert type with two main factors, ‘Self and Partner’, and two sub-dimensions of these factors ‘Strategy and Effort’. As a result of the validity and reliability study, the Turkish form of the BSRERS was found to be suitable for Turkish culture.
